ELEMENT SECTOR IPHONE 7 CASE (US$150)

You spent a lot of money on that new iPhone 7, so of course you want to make sure its protected. This rugged case from Element is both light and strong, but ultimately designed for performance. Combining aerospace-grade carbon fibre and machined aluminium, means the Sector can meet military spec drop tests.

Want skull-pounding bass? Then these are the cans for you, literally. These headphones from Skullcandy have haptic feedback built into them meaning they vibrate in time with whatever music you’re listening to. This adds another dimension to your tunes, making the experience more immersive.

YAMAHA TSX-B15 (US$180)

Yamaha have been knocking it out of the park recently with a slew of sleekly-designed lifestyle speaker products. The TSX-B15 is one of the smallest members in this line, but just as mighty. It’s Bluetooth enabled – with an alarm clock and FM tuner built-in – and comes in five exciting colours to suit any decor.

HTC U PLAY (US$410)

If you want HTC’s vision of what a future phone should look like, check out the HTC U Ultra. For the rest of us, there’s the HTC U Play. HTC have managed to keep the super sleek glass and aluminium design, but otherwise it’s got a normal sized 5.2in screen, normal tech (a MediaTek Helio octa-core processor), and, thankfully, a normal price.

UE WONDERBOOM (US$110)

The Wonderboom is a whole new speaker in the excellent UltimateEars line. Looking like a tiny sonic hand grenade, it’s immersible in water – thanks to a flapped charging port – and lets you pair it with a second speaker for maximum stereo tune-age. All for a similarly puny price. Good stuff, indeed.

SOL REPUBLIC AMPS AIR (US$190)

The future of headphones is clearly wireless. Although only a few brave companies have gone ahead and truly removed all wires. SOL Republic is the latest to join the fray with these cute buds that offer a premium sound with noise isolation, and a case that will charge them after their three hours of battery life has expired.
