Honor, the digital-focused sub-brand of Huawei, are set to release their latest handset the Honor 7X upon the world in December, and we’ve just had confirmation that it will be officially getting a UAE and Saudi release.

The Honor 7X is the company’s first attempt at a near bezel-less smartphone sporting a 18:9 aspect ratio and dual camera setup.

While aimed at a more budget-conscious segment of the market, the Honor 7X is actually a pretty premium-looking device with a metallic unibody design that isn’t too far off the likes of more pricey competition from Apple and Huawei’s own P-series flagships.

It is expected to be rocking an octa-core Kirin 659 CPU with 4GB of RAM and storage options up to 128GB(expandable via microSD). The aforementioned dual rear snapper features a 16MP primary sensor augmented by a 2MP one and an LED flash. If it’s reminiscent of the setup found in the excellent Honor 9 then we can expect good things.

While no official pricing details have been revealed, we should hear more once the phone is unveiled at an event in London on 5 December.
