Valve

The gaming gurus at Valve have been busily beavering away on new hardware – which is rumoured to include everything from a Steam Box console to new controllers that will take advantage of its new Big Picture mode, to wearable computers.

Now, some lucky folks will be able to get their hands on Valve’s gaming hardware – the company’s put out a call for gamers to “playtest both released and unreleased versions of our games as well as play around with some of our hardware prototypes.”

Unfortunately, unless you’re in the Seattle/Bellevue area, you’re out of luck – but Valve does suggest that remote playtests could be coming up in the future.

Whatever Valve has bubbling away, it’s sure to shake up the gaming world – especially if it’s competing directly with the Wii U, Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720.
