Rockstar Games is clearly determined to get Grand Theft Auto III onto every gaming platform in the universe – now the vintage crim-sim is making its way onto the PlayStation 3.

GTA III was released on iOS and Android as the 10 Year Anniversay Edition to much excitement and now it’s back again as a download on PS3 for US$10. But this is just the start – we can also expect to see Mirror’s Edge, Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins, Starhawk, Realms of Ancient War, Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and Final Fantasy III (PSP).

A quick race n’ chase around Liberty City circa 2001 should set us up nicely for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V, which still doesn’t have a release date.

You know which game *I’d* like to see in the PS Store? Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas! I like GTA3, I like even more GTA Vice City, but San Andreas is pure perfection if you ask me.

And so of course I have already bought the GTA3. Hopefully they’ll release ALL the GTA games if GTA3 sells well enough for them.

Am I just being stupid or is there not a map on this version?
