Asus Padfone 2 landing on October 16
The followup to the Asus Padfone will be revealed next month, with Asus holding events in Milan and Taipei on 16 October. Invitations exhorting journalists to “save the date” show a portion of the smartphone’s front. It looks… well, pretty much as you’d expect an Acer Android handset to look.
It’s thought that the Padfone 2 will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon, but nothing is confirmed as yet.
