New Olympus PEN E-PL5 comes rocking a touchscreen [Photokina 2012]

Photokina is still spilling the beans on new cameras – like the Fujifilm X-F1 and Canon EOS 6D – but the latest is a new Olympus PEN E-PL5 with its newly added touchscreen.
The 16.1MP E-PL5 now features the same touchscreen that was previously reserved only for the top of the line E-P3 – meaning touch to focus while recording video. It also means an extended ISO range that goes up to 25,600. Olympus has also opted for wireless-ready SD card compatibility rather than building Wi-Fi in.
The more affordable Olympus PEN E-PM2 will also get the touchscreen and camera upgrades, only in a different form factor. The E-PL5 will cost US$700 with a 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. The cheaper E-PM2 will be US$600 with the same lens or US$550 for body only.
