Mystery HTC mobile launching at September 19th event
The biggest launch this month might have gone to the new Apple iPhone 5 (but let’s not forget Nokia, Motorola or Amazon’s new Kindles, either) but HTC is waving in the background screaming “Don’t forget about me!” The firm just sent out invitations to a September 19th event in New York City, exhorting journalists to “join HTC to see what’s next”.
So what can we expect? Well, it could well be three new Windows 8 phones, ranging from entry level to flagship – in other words, the Zenith, Accord and Rio handsets we heard rumours about back when Windows 8 was revealed. But we won’t know for sure until the 19th.
