Enter the Apple iPhone 5 – it’s finally here, and with it an all new design. Apple has given its iPhone a refresh in the design department, and while the new iPhone 5 packs better and bigger features than all previous models, it’s somehow both thinner and lighter than ever. It’s still made entirely of glass and aluminium though, and you won’t hear us complaining about that.

Specs wise – the iPhone 5 comes in at a weeny 112g, making it 20 per cent lighter than its portly 4S brother. It’s also thinner than the 4S, almost 18 per cent thinner and coming in at 7.6mm in thickness.

Of course, in true Apple style, it does all this while keeping the drool-worthy looks of previous iPhones.

There’s also an better A6 processor under the hood as well as a bigger battery and screen. But more on that later…
