Acer has revealed its Iconia A110 tablet, and it’s got the Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire firmly in its crosshairs, thanks to its 7in screen, Tegra 3 processor, 8GB of storage and an update to Jelly Bean on the way.
Although priced at US$225 at launch, the Acer Iconia A110 matches the Nexus 7 spec for spec and has the advantage of a microSD card port, which coupled with your existing 32GBG microSD card, makes it a cheaper deal than the 16GB Nexus 7. Nice.
A slightly vague end-of-September is all we have to go on for a release date for the time being, so stay tuned for more solid details as and when we get them.
