Leaked Crysis 3 screenshots show an overgrown tropical New York jungle
Ever since we were first teased with shots of an overgrown, tropical New York by the makers of Crysis, we have been stretching our game thumbs in anticipation for more. Unfortunately, it seems our thumbs are going to have to wait until February 2013 to get playing Crysis 3 – but until then, these luscious screenshots of the so-called ‘Canyon’ environment will have to do.
They come courtesy of Pierre-Yves Donzallez – a lighting artist on the game who posted them on his blog before swiftly removing any trace of the blunder.
Alas, it was too late and now we can gawp over the gorgeous effects that we can look forward to when Crysis 3 comes to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.
