The Mobile Show opens its doors in Dubai

The Middle East’s biggest mobile party has just kicked things off in Dubai. Yes, The Mobile Show is back, bringing some of the best developers, apps, telecom swots and devices to the Madinat Arena.

We’ve got some of the biggest names in apps, everyone from the boffs behind augmented reality browser Wikitude to the folks who made Doodle Jump a success. There’s also devices, with the likes of BlackBerry, Samsung and Google keen to show off the latest apps on their latest wares. Throw in some local talent from Mobily and the UAE’s TRA, and you can understand what all the fuss is about.
