ZTE announces its quad-core flagship Era smartphone [MWC 2012]

ZTE revealed what felt like an assortment of 100 different phones and tablets this morning here at MWC in Barcelona, but the pick of the bunch is the ZTE Era Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.
Powered by a 1.3Ghz Tegra 3 processor and 1GB RAM, the ZTE also features a 4.3in 960×540 QHD touchscreen with 8GB of memory and Dolby-powered sound processing, all of which is crammed in to a svelte 7.8mm thick body.
The ZTE Era looks set to drop in the second half of this year for a hopefully competitive price, which should offer up an impressive chunk of smartphone hardware in exchange for your coinage, so stay tuned.
