That’s a fine looking timepiece
Indeed it is. Swedish designer David Ericsson has tarted up his VOID V01 watch design with a new red LED display, lending it a gloriously retro feel.

Those LEDs could get distracting though…
Fear not, the V01 LED’s display remains blank until you press the side button to display the time or date. Just like the very first digital watches, in fact – though we’d rather have one of these hugging our wrist than a bleeping old Casio.

Whats the damage?
If you fancy strapping on a VOID V01 LED yourself then you can grab one from the Dezeen watch store for around US$230, in polished stainless steel, brushed black and brushed gold finishes. Not bad for an instant style boost, eh?
