Samsung welcomes Galaxy Wi-Fi 3.6 to IFA
Cat got your tongue? Or do you only communicate in texts, emails and instant messages now? Well Samsung has the phone-that’s-not-a-phone for you. The Samsung Galaxy Wi-Fi runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), comes with a 3.65in LCD display, 2MP snapper and is powered by a 1Ghz processor.
This multimedia device looks to rival the iPod Touch and will launch in white and black models in early October, priced at around US$240 for 8GB and US$260 for 16GB.
And actually you can still make voice or video calls over the internet, via Android and Samsung apps. So goodbye shocking monthly phone bills?
