Entire shipment of Xperia Play mobiles stolen in New Zealand
Sony is not having the best month. First, its PlayStation Network gets hacked. And now, its phone-friendly arm – Sony Ericsson – has been attacked by pirates who’ve made off with the entire shipment of Xperia Play smartphones destined for New Zealand. That’s according to @VodafoneNZ on Twitter.

We’re not sure that the phones were on the high seas, or that real pirates (of the swashbuckling ilk) are responsible for the theft, but we like to think so. Perhaps they were after the pirates’ code (ba-dom-tish!). More likely they wanted to play Lego Pirates of the Caribbean.
