Google Android Market coming to the UAE

The Android Market is soon to land in the UAE, Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The Market is currently blocked in certain countries around the Middle East, and all official Android mobiles sold in those countries don’t have the Market app installed.

News that Google has reached an agreement with the telecoms in previously blocked countries comes from an app-loving tipster inside the search giant’s Middle East HQ.

We don’t have a date, as of yet, but imagine the Android Market will start to appear on devices in the next few months.

This is a major boon for Android blowers, many of which lack Google’s app store.

Anish, this means that you will be able to _buy_ apps. Currently, phones with Market cannot see or buy paid apps.
