Sony sells LCD TV with built-in PS2
Looks like Sony’s still finding ways to squeeze more money out of the PlayStation 2, it’s started building the console into special 22in LCD screens. It’s a bit retro, and won’t give you next-gen console tricks like HD graphics and Blu-ray, but a TV with a PS2 built into the base is undeniably cool.
This is a Bravia KDL22PX300 with a real, working PS2 for a base. Naturally that means it’s a one-stop solution for a bedroom DVD player, but it also gives you an excuse to bust out all those ace PS2 games that have been gathering dust.
For the modern man (or woman) there’s also Bravia Internet TV and four HDMI ports, plus a PC input and three USB sockets. Did we mention it’s only US$350? Now that’s a gift.
