YouTube gives Middle East free movies
YouTube has launched a new movies section for UK residents (update: us too!), along with 400 free-to-watch movies in the channel. The UK version of the section follows the launch of the Shows section of the video-friendly website, which brought full TV episodes and clips to the YouTube masses for free.
As of right now there’s not much choice, there’s a load of Bollywood hits, cult classics (with awesome films like Night of the Living Dead and Equinox) and documentaries and animated films (more cartoons, really).
It’s a move that some people have described as YouTube’s attempt to break Hulu, the online service which gives you streaming TV shows and movies from top US networks, NBC, Fox and ABC. But while it still has a ways to go before it catches Hulu, it’s a good first step for Google‘s video service.
We’re happy for you UK, but c’mon YouTube we want some free-online-movie lovin’ too.

[UPDATE: we're not sure about you - but we've just tried the site - and have got full access to all of YouTube's free movies]
