Casio EX-G1 is one solid snapper
Tough cams, like the iron-pumping meatheads they attempt to impersonate, are often chunky little fellas covered in unsightly muscular bulges. Their enlarged physiques may give more resistance to the elements, but they also lead to large lumps in your pocket. But like kate Moss in a Kevlar-coated dressing gown, Casio’s 12MP EX-G1 is both as hard as diamond-encrusted nails at, at just 19.9mm thin, pocket-pleasingly skinny. It’s built to withstand tumbles from just over 2m, temperatures of -10C and dips in up to 3M of H20. It’s proof that rugged doesn’t have to mean repugnant.
